Kisspeptin is supplied as lyophilized powder in sealed vials, in 5mg and 10mg. Available as 1 vial, 3 vials or a 10-pack. Supplied strictly for research use only.
Kisspeptin in Canada is supplied by Horizon Peptides as a lyophilized powder in sealed research vials, stocked in 5 mg and 10 mg sizes with single-vial, 3-vial and 10-vial pack options. Kisspeptin is a neuropeptide studied in reproductive endocrine signalling research.
Kisspeptin is the product of the KISS1 gene, and its name has an odd origin: the gene was identified in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and named after the chocolate. It is one of the few peptides in research use whose naming has nothing to do with its structure or function.
Its described role sits upstream in the reproductive endocrine axis, acting on neurons that regulate gonadotropin-releasing hormone. That upstream position is what makes it of interest, since a signal at that level influences a cascade rather than a single output.
The gene was originally investigated in an entirely different context before its role in this axis was recognised, which is a common pattern in peptide research and a reminder that the name a sequence carries often reflects where it was found rather than what it does.
Studies using it concern neuroendocrine communication and the regulation of reproductive signalling pathways in animal and cell-culture models.
Research areas describe how this material appears in published laboratory work. They are not claims about any effect in people or animals.
Other endocrine-signalling sequences stocked here include HCG, Oxytocin and Sermorelin.

Batch documents are published on the Lab Results page as they become available, searchable by product or batch.
Mass spectrometry checks the measured molecular mass against the expected one: is this the right molecule.
HPLC separates a sample and reports the target as a share of everything detected.
A certificate describes one batch. The batch on the document should match the one you are asking about.
The document should say who carried out the analysis and when.
Not every batch has a published document. Where one exists, it is listed; this page says nothing about results.

Keep lyophilized material sealed, dry and away from light, in a cool place or refrigerated. Let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening so moisture does not condense inside it.
From the KISS1 gene, itself named after the chocolate made in the town where the gene was identified.
