What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. They are studied in laboratory settings for their role in cellular signalling. Our guide to peptides explains how research peptides are made and described.
Are your products for human consumption?
No. All products sold by Horizon Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory research use and are not for human or veterinary consumption.
Do you provide dosing or usage guidance?
No. We provide general handling and storage information for laboratory materials only. We do not provide dosing information, protocols or any guidance on administration to people or animals.
Do you publish certificates of analysis?
Batch documents are published on the Lab Results page as they become available. Not every batch has a published document. To ask about a specific product or batch, use the contact page.
What formats do you stock?
Lyophilized vials, nasal sprays, capsules, premixed pens and creams, plus laboratory supplies: bacteriostatic water, syringes and alcohol wipes. Each product page states its format, sizes and pack options.
Can vial sizes be split or combined?
Vials may be split or combined to match the total amount purchased. For example, a 10mg order may be fulfilled as two 5mg vials.
Are your products legal to purchase in Canada?
Products are sold for research purposes in Canada. Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws that apply to them.

What payment methods do you accept?
The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout.
Why do I have to tick a box before checkout?
Every order is placed on the basis that the materials are for laboratory research use only. The confirmation at checkout records that you have read and accepted this.
Can I cancel or change my order?
An order can only be changed or cancelled before it enters fulfilment. Once payment has been accepted and the order is being processed it is final, even if it has not yet left our facility.
Can I pre-order out-of-stock products?
We do not accept pre-orders. Out-of-stock items can be ordered again once they are restocked.
Can I combine separate orders for shipping?
Orders placed separately cannot be combined once payment has been processed.
Are there quantity limits?
Some products may have quantity restrictions to ensure stock availability.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes. Pricing is available for volume and recurring orders. See the wholesale page or send us a message with what you need.
Shipping

How are orders shipped?
Orders ship from within Canada, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET typically ship the same business day.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Free Express shipping is applied automatically on orders over $300. No code is needed.
How long does delivery take?
Transit times within Canada are typically 2 to 10 business days. Carrier estimates are usually accurate but are not guaranteed.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within Canada only.
How can I track my order?
You will receive a tracking link by email once your order ships. Tracking may show "label created" until the carrier has collected and scanned the parcel.
Can I order on weekends or holidays?
You can place an order at any time. Orders are packed and shipped on business days only.
What if my package is lost or delayed?
If tracking does not show delivery, contact us and we will help file an inquiry with the carrier. A refund or replacement is only issued once the carrier has confirmed the parcel is lost.
What happens if my address is incorrect?
Customers are responsible for entering an accurate delivery address. A parcel returned because of an address problem can be reshipped once the return and reship fees are paid.

Storage and handling

How should lyophilized peptides be stored?
Lyophilized powder should be kept sealed in a cool, dry place away from light, or refrigerated. The storage guide covers this in more detail.
Are peptides sensitive to light?
Some are. Keep lyophilized powders in their original packaging, away from direct sunlight.
Can lyophilized peptides be frozen?
Yes. Lyophilized material can be frozen for extended storage.
Are your peptides sterile?
Most research-grade peptides are not sterile unless explicitly stated. Use proper laboratory technique when handling them.
How should peptide waste be handled?
Dispose of materials according to your laboratory's waste procedures. Never pour chemicals down a household drain.
Returns and support

What is your return policy?
Because of the nature of research materials, all sales are final. See the full return policy.
What if my order arrives damaged or defective?
Contact us within 72 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos of the product and packaging. Claims are reviewed case by case.
Can I return an order if I change my mind?
No. Returns for a change of mind are not accepted.
