What “research use only” means on this site, what it means for you as a purchaser, and why we enforce it.
Every product Horizon Peptides sells is supplied strictly for laboratory, industrial and research purposes. That is not a disclaimer bolted onto the bottom of a product page. It is the basis on which the material is sold, and it determines what we will and will not do.
What we do not sell
Horizon Peptides does not sell health products, nutritional products, therapeutics, or substances for administration to humans or animals. Nothing on this site is a drug, a supplement, or a medical device.
Products — including any vial, spray or similar format — are sold strictly for laboratory, industrial and research purposes only. These items are not authorized or approved for any form of human or animal use or consumption and may pose serious health risks if misused.
What you confirm when you order
By placing an order, the purchaser affirms that they are a qualified practitioner, academic, laboratory technologist, industrial technician or otherwise authorized professional; that the products will be used only for lawful research or laboratory purposes; and that the purchaser will not use or permit these products to be used as health products in humans or animals.
The purchaser also accepts full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, application and legal compliance of all purchased materials once delivered. Horizon Peptides accepts no liability for improper handling, misuse, downstream application, or violation of local, provincial, federal or international laws by the purchaser or third parties.

We will refuse orders
Horizon Peptides may refuse sale, cancel orders, or withhold fulfillment at its sole discretion where there is concern that products may be used for human or animal administration. This is a real policy, not a formality.
Why we will not answer dosing questions
We get asked. The answer is always the same: we do not provide dosing information, protocols, or any guidance on administration, because doing so would contradict the only terms on which this material is sold.
Handling
All products must be handled only by qualified and properly trained laboratory or research professionals. Most research-grade peptides are not sterile unless explicitly stated, and proper technique should be used throughout.
Regulatory guidance

Listing a material on the Horizon Peptides website does not grant or imply any license to operate in infringement of any intellectual property or regulatory requirement.
