GHK-CuFaceCream

The GHK-Cu face cream in Canada is supplied by Horizon Peptides in sealed 30 ml and 60 ml cosmetic jars, available singly or in 3-jar and 5-jar packs. It is a moisturising cream formulated with 1% GHK-Cu copper peptide and 1% hyaluronic acid in an emollient base.

This is a cosmetic moisturiser rather than a research material, and it is the only product of its kind in the catalogue. Where the copper tripeptide is elsewhere supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory work, here it is formulated into a finished cream at a stated 1% inclusion.

The base is built around familiar emollient and humectant ingredients. Shea butter, coconut oil and sunflower oil supply the richer, occlusive part of the texture; glycerin and hyaluronic acid are humectants, which draw and hold water; beeswax and glyceryl stearate give the cream its body.

GHK-Cu carries a characteristic blue colour in solution, and its presence contributes to the tint of the finished cream. Dimethicone gives the slip and smooth finish as the cream is spread, and tocopherol is included as vitamin E.

It is offered in two jar sizes, with the smaller suited to trying the texture and the larger to regular use.
